The Story

From aging building to modern office space

The property at 1901 Alhambra Boulevard is a corner building in Sacramento's established midtown corridor, zoned for commercial office use. When we took on the project, it was a dated 2,200 SF structure that had been through environmental remediation and was ready for a new chapter.

We expanded the building to 2,500 SF with city planning department approval, adding ADA-compliant entry, bathrooms on both floors, and 4 on-site parking spaces. The exterior was completely reimagined - blue corrugated metal siding, corten steel accents, and a commissioned mural that gives the building identity on the street.

The upstairs and downstairs are designed to operate independently, allowing for flexible leasing arrangements. With architectural, engineering, and electrical plans in hand, the property is built for owner-users who want a distinctive, customizable professional space.
